London-based producer Kristy Harper explores peaceful revolution, injustice and inequality in the current system with her new track, The System is F*cked.

Kristy takes inspiration from a speech Eric Latham a.k.a ‘The Character’ made at a Black Lives Matter protest. With stripped back percussion, resampled chords and groove driven house, she uses powerful elements from his speech about Bitcoin and how it can help those in the black community. She says "it's all about reaching freedom and emancipation by exiting the oppressive financial system."

“Music is a space for me to push and express ideas and messages I’m passionate about. Bitcoin is something I believe in and want to help continue the conversation.”

According to Kristy, the track “symbolises what I hope for our future. Bitcoin is sort of a digital utopia; where you can protect your wealth and put it into a currency not owned by any government. It’s freedom. You can become individually sovereign and own your wealth and power. The idea is that you can’t be free if you continue to use the financial system that was originally used to enslave.”

It was created for this very purpose
So the elites do not have control of the financial system anymore
With bitcoin they cannot turn on the printing press and give our dollars to their friends, for bailing them out because they weren't being responsible
The elites cannot bail out their friends anymore
Please learn about this system,
This system is called,
It was created for this very purpose.

We will no longer let the elites kill us with our own money.
That is absurd.
Please learn about this system
This system is called
